MAN ARRESTED AFTER HIGH SPEED CHASE

A Pensacola man is facing charges after leading the Florida Highway Patrol on a chase last night. Troopers say they tried to stop 20-year-old Antoine Booker on Pensacola Boulevard -- but he didn't stop and ran at high speeds. The chase ended with Booker crashing the vehicle and it flipping upside down. Troopers say they found a pistol that was converted to a fully automatic machine gun, marijuana, and other controlled substances in the vehicle. Booker is being held in the Escambia County jail on a 251-thousand dollar bond.
