If you've been thinking about serving your community, today is your deadline. Friday, October 16 is the final day to submit an application for two open seats on the West Florida Public Libraries Board of Governance, which oversees library service across all of Escambia County.

The board typically meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 4 p.m. Board members help guide policy and operations for the library system that serves the entire county. If you're interested in applying, you'll need to get your application in before the close of business today.
