KAYAKER DIES AFTER HAVING MEDICAL EMERGENCY, GOING INTO WATER

A Kayaker has drowned after an accident in the Blackwater River on Saturday. Santa Rosa County deputies say the man suffered a medical emergency while kayaking and flipped over into the water on Saturday morning. The man never resurfaced, and was later found deceased. The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office, Florida Fish & Wildlife, and local fire departments all assisted with the search -- he was found just over an hour after he went into the water.
