Jack Brewer Foundation distributes 1,000 free meals in Milton today

The Jack Brewer Foundation is back at Jernigan's Landing in Milton today with free prepared meals for residents still recovering from Hurricane Isaias. The distribution runs at noon and 6 p.m., with 1,000 meals available on a first-come, first-served basis — up to four per vehicle.

The City of Milton has set up a traffic route to keep things moving: drivers enter from Canal Street, turn left onto Pine Street, then left onto South Willing Street for pickup. After grabbing meals, head right onto Elmira Street and exit via Oak Street.

If you or someone you know needs a meal, head out to Jernigan's Landing today. The foundation has been a steady presence in the community's hurricane recovery effort.
