(Washington, DC) -- The House Ethics Panel report on sexual allegations involving former Congressman Matt Gaetz will not be released for now.
Gaetz has long-faced accusations of sexual misconduct -- but a Justice Department investigation resulted in no charges. Gaetz has also denied the allegations.
Gaetz resigned from his Congressional seat last week after being nominated as President-elect Trump's Attorney General. Some lawmakers had called for the report to be released, but House Speaker Mike Johnson urged the Ethics Committee to keep it under wraps since Gaetz is no longer a congressman.
