Highway 4A Safety Improvement Project Near Century Nearing Completion

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A nearly 3-and-a-half million dollar road safety project on Highway 4A near Century is almost done. The project covers about 5-and-a-half miles of roadway from Byrneville to Century including lane widening, overlay work, guardrail upgrades, and drainage improvements. The county later expanded the project to include an additional stretch from State Line Road to Highway 29. Substantial completion is expected next week with final completion by May 15th.
