HELMETS REQUIRED ON MOTORIZED DEVICES IN GULF BREEZE IF UNDER 16

The city of Gulf Breeze is working on updating their local ordinances, and one topic is the rise in motorized devices. Quite a few folks are unaware that if you are on a motorized device, and you are under the age of 16, you are required to wear a helmet. There have been numerous incidents and near misses by minors on motorized devices in Gulf Breeze, averaging about 9 per week. The city is in the process of crafting an ordinance and will take that to the city council for approval.
