Gun Store Owner Gets Trial Delay Over Bankruptcy

Milton, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The owner of Gulf Coast Gun and Outdoors in Milton has received a trial delay as he plans to file for bankruptcy. Chris Smith faces a libel and slander lawsuit from former Santa Rosa County Commissioner Sam Parker over a sales promotion. The trial was scheduled for February 2nd. Smith's attorney says a bankruptcy filing would automatically halt further proceedings.
