Free Meals for All Students at 44 Escambia County Schools This Year

Escambia County Schools is offering free breakfast and lunch to every student at 44 schools and centers during the 2024-2025 school year, regardless of family income. The expanded meal program means families won't need to submit applications or make payments at those participating locations.
However, families with students at 11 other Escambia County schools will still need to either submit applications for free or reduced-price meals, or pay for lunch as usual. School officials encourage parents to check which schools fall into each category to understand what their family needs to do.
The free meal program is designed to ensure all students have access to nutritious breakfast and lunch throughout the school day, removing potential barriers to participation. Parents with questions about which schools offer universal free meals or how to apply at other locations can contact their child's school directly.
