FPL Reaches 120 Solar Energy Centers Statewide

Florida Power and Light now operates one-hundred-twenty solar energy centers across the state, making it the largest utility-scale solar portfolio in the country. The company says solar investments have saved customers more than one-point-three-billion dollars by avoiding fuel costs, with enough capacity now to power over one-and-a-half million homes. F-P-L has also added agrivoltaics projects at several sites, allowing land to be used for both solar production and cattle grazing at the same time.
