Former State Rep Approved for Century Administrator Job

Century, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A former state representative has been chosen as the new town administrator in Century. The town council approved hiring Dave Murzin for the job at their meeting last night. Murzin was recommended by Mayor Ben Boutwell. Last night's vote authorizes Boutwell to negotiate an employment agreement with Murzin -- that agreement will go up for a final vote in September. Murzin is currently working as the Director of First Place Partners -- which represents economic development in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.
