Florida House Passes Stronger Domestic Violence Protections

A bill strengthening protections for domestic violence victims has cleared the Florida House. House Bill 277 imposes tougher penalties on repeat offenders and expands victim protections. The bill was championed by Lake Worth Representative Debra Tendrich, herself a former victim of domestic violence. It now heads to the Senate.
