Float Like a Buffalo performs free at Pensacola Beach tonight

A funk-rock band with influences ranging from reggae to jam takes the stage tonight at Pensacola Beach as part of the free outdoor summer concert series. Float Like a Buffalo performs from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, according to the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce.

The band draws from artists like Lettuce, The Motet, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and James Brown—combining rock, funk, ska, reggae, and jam into what organizers describe as high-energy performances that inspire dancing. The show overlooks the Gulf of Mexico.
