FIREWORKS TOMORROW

Up to 30,000 people will show up to watch the 4th of July fireworks display in downtown Pensacola tomorrow. It's the largest fireworks show on the Gulf Coast. This show takes months to plan, weeks to coordinate the music, days to set up, amd costs about $65,000. The show itself starts at 9 pm, but you are encouraged to get there early. Bayfront Parkway will be closed from Veterans Memorial Park to Bartram Park on Friday, starting around 2 pm. There will be food trucks from 5 to 10 pm at both parks, and you can bring your own food, and a radio to hear the music synchronized with the show by our sister station, Cat Country 98-7.
