Firefighters Respond to House Fire on Pine Forest Road

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 4-thousand block of Pine Forest Road early this morning. The call came in at around 2 am. Multiple units were called to the scene. Officials say the home had a long, narrow driveway that caused issues with their response. Firefighters requested additional hoses because the ones on their trucks were not long enough to reach the house from the end of the drive. The Bureau of Fire and Arson is investigating. So far there's no word on the cause or whether anyone was hurt.
