WORK TO BEGIN ON BRATT DRAINAGE PROJECT -- David Wayne
Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A drainage improvement project is set to begin soon on McElhaney Road south of the state line in Bratt. It's a Hurricane Sally FEMA project at a cost of around $ 810,715. FEMA is funding a majority of the project, and around $40-thousand is being put in by Escambia County. The work will include clearing debris, removing damaged culverts and installing some new ones, ditch work, fixing fences and roads, and some other miscellaneous work. It's expected to start this month and take about 180 days to complete.
