FEDERAL AGENCIES OFFERING CASH REWARD FOR TIPS ON NEW ORLEANS ESCAPEES

(New Orleans, LA) -- The ATF is offering a five-thousand dollar reward for tips that leads to the arrest of a group of New Orleans jail escapees. That's on top of the five-thousand dollars reward from Crimestoppers and the ten-thousand dollar reward from the F-B-I -- bringing the total to 20-thousand-dollars. Ten men escaped on Friday. Five have been caught. One jail worker has been arrested for allegedly helping the men escape. His lawyer claims that the inmates threatened to kill his client if he didn't help them break free.
