Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Escambia High School has been selected as one of 25 finalists in T-Mobile's "Friday Night 5G Lights" competition.
It's a program I'm very passionate about," says Lindsay Adams from T-Mobile. "This is where our community rallies on Friday Nights."
She presented the school with $25-thousand dollars this week, that's in addition to $6-thousand they won earlier this year. The school is now in the running for a $1 million stadium upgrade -- which school officials say is much needed. If they win, the school wants to upgrade the field's drainage.
Voting is open until October 24th. Anyone with a valid email address can cast one vote per day for the school.
