Escambia County continues reviewing their options for the OLF 8 property in Beulah. Currently there are three offers on the table -- the long-negotiated $22-million dollar offer from Beulah Town Center, LLC for 290 acres of mixed-use land, a $36-million dollar offer for the entire property by Jim Wilson and Associates, and a $2.5 million dollar offer for 25 acres by an unknown company for "Project Dynamo" which was presented a few weeks ago by the FloridaWest Economic Development Alliance. That project would use a corner of the property near Frank Reeder Road for light industrial and the project is expected to create up to 180 jobs. County Commissioner Jeff Bergosh says the county has been negotiating with 'Project Dynamo" and if it gets the green light they're hoping to finish the facility by October 2025.
