Ernest Ward Middle School honors 8th graders in loss to Central

Ernest Ward Middle School celebrated its 8th Grade Night on Tuesday, recognizing eighth-grade football players and cheerleaders during a home game in Walnut Hill. Despite the ceremonial recognition of the young athletes, the Eagles fell short on the field, losing 16-0 to the Central Jaguars. The shutout loss marks a tough night for Ernest Ward's middle school football program, though the recognition of the eighth-grade class provided a highlight during the game.
