EREC FAKE SERVICE CALL EMPLOYEE

Escambia River Electric Cooperative says they've been receiving reports of a possible door-to-door scam involving their fiber internet service. The utility says someone has been going door-to-door claiming to be from Conexon Connect fiber and responding to service calls.... but EREC says their employees will only visit a home with an appointment. Their employees will also be wearing a Conexon Connect shirt or uniform and have an identification badge.
