Eglin Federal Credit Union honors Mary Calvert's 25 years of service

Eglin Federal Credit Union celebrated a major milestone Tuesday when Information Systems Core Systems Computer Operator II Mary Calvert was recognized for 25 years with the organization. The Fort Walton Beach resident began her career at Eglin FCU on August 31, 2001, as a full-time teller at the Hurlburt Field Branch, where she spent more than two decades providing member services.

Calvert's career path reflects steady advancement within the credit union. In July 2022, she transitioned to the Information Systems Department as a Computer/Imaging Operator at the Fort Walton Beach Branch. She earned a promotion to IS Core Systems Computer Operator I in August 2025, followed by another promotion to IS Core Systems Computer Operator II just one month later.

"Your hard work, positive attitude and willingness to support others have made a lasting impact on both our members and your coworkers," Information Systems Manager Susan Coup said at a celebratory breakfast held at the Operations Center. Calvert is set to retire on January 4, 2027.

Reflecting on her quarter-century with the organization, Calvert expressed gratitude for the relationships and opportunities she experienced. "Eglin FCU has provided me with meaningful opportunities, lasting friendships and a strong sense of purpose throughout my career," she said.
