Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority launched a free app two months ago to let customers pay bills and submit service requests from their phones, but some customers have run into confusion. One common complaint involves bulk trash pickup requests that appear unresolved on screen even though ECUA says they are going through. The agency says the app closes out the initial request once a work order is created and customers can then chat directly with the employee handling their request. ECUA says it is still fine-tuning the app based on customer feedback. Those who prefer calling can still reach ECUA by phone.
