ECSO Plans to Build new 'Memorial Plaza' at Sheriff's Office

The Escambia Sheriff's Office will be building a new 'Law Enforcement Memorial Plaza' next year. The plaza will be built in front of the sheriff's office and will expand their current memorial into a place where people can come together. The sheriff's office says it will allow for larger gatherings, events, and moments of reflection. The plaza will be funded through the Escambia County Sheriff Foundation and will not require any taxpayer money. A public groundbreaking is planned for early next year.
