Early Voting Update Ahead Of August 18th Primary

Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- Turnout continues climbing ahead of next week's primary election. In Escambia County, nearly t20,000 of the county's roughly 204,000 active voters have cast ballots, putting turnout at just under ten percent, with most votes coming by mail. In Santa Rosa County, more than 9,000 of the county's nearly 142,000 active voters have voted so far, putting turnout at about six-and-a-half percent, with the majority cast during early voting. Both counties continue early voting ahead of Election Day on August 18th.
