DR. ED MEADOWS APPEARS TO BE ZACK SMITH'S NEXT TARGET

Pensacola State College Trustee Zack Smith is raising his concerns about leadership at the college. At a recent PSC Board of Trustees meeting Smith told the board he was concerned that Dr. Ed Meadows hasn't provided enough oversight into making sure the college is not spending money on anything DEI-related. He also raised concerns about Meadows involvement with Achieve Escambia -- an organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for all children... but Smith said the organization's website appeared to support DEI initiatives, until he brought it to Meadows attention. Smith also serves on the UWF Board of Trustees, and was previously in the center of the controversy that resulted in former University President Dr. Martha Saunders ouster.
