Former Florida Senator Don Gaetz wants his old job back. Don Gaetz has pre-filed to run for Doug Broxson's seat, as Broxson will be term-limited after 2024. Up until today, former Representative Frank White was the only one in the field, however, White says he'll withdraw and fully support Gaetz. Gaetz served as State Senator from 2006 to 2016, including a stint as Senate President from 2012 to 2014. Gaetz is also dismissing rumors and speculation on social media that say his son Matt is lining up a run for Florida Governor in 2026.
