Diaz Gives State of the University Address: Says UWF is "Very Strong" and "Future is Even Brighter"

Interim UWF President Manny Diaz gave the annual State of the Unviersity Address today.

It's an honor to serve as your interim President and to stand among such inspiring group of people," said Manny Diaz Jr. "I'm proud to say the state of our University is strong, and our future is even brighter."

Diaz spoke about enrollment at the University, saying they hit a milestone with more than 15-thousand students this year. He said that is a reflection on how students and their families view the University, and the strength of their educational programs.

He also talked about their athletic programs, saying the Argos continue to make UWF proud with national and conference championships in multiple sports, and an undefeated football season. The speech was broadcast live here on Newsradio 92.3.
