DEVELOPERS OUTLINE PLANS FOR OLF 8 PROPERTY

The new owners of the former Navy airfield in Beulah are announcing their plans for the OLF 8 property. "Catalyst Healthspan" and "Jim Wilson & Associates" say that their development will be named "Outlying Fields." The $42.5 million-dollar project aims to create an "energizing community" featuring residential options, shopping, dining, job opportunities, and outdoor recreation. Developers say their team brings extensive experience delivering high-quality, mixed-use developments. The development has been a years-long process -- an offer was finally accepted by the Escambia Board of Commisisoners back in June for the 540-acre property.
