Developer Plans to Turn Former Skating Rink into Ice Rink

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The historic Landmark Skating rink could be renovated into a new ice-skating rink. A proposal for the project has been submitted to the Escambia Development Review Committee, and they'll be going over it at their meeting tomorrow. If approved it would transform the former roller-skating rink into a modern ice-skating rink, it would include seating and changing areas for teams. The renovated facility would also include party rooms available for rent. The building was damaged in a fire back in 2019.
