DeSantis Proposes Property Tax Rebates

(Tallahassee, FL) -- Governor Ron DeSantis wants to give homeowners immediate tax relief. He announced yesterday he's proposing a rebate averaging a thousand dollars for each homesteaded property in the state. DeSantis adds the rebates would cover state-mandated school property taxes. This will ensure full school district funding while easing the burden on families. He estimates over five million homeowners will benefit from the rebate.
