DeSantis Discusses Property Tax Reform

(Jacksonville, FL) -- The governor is not giving up on his goal of eliminating property taxes. Governor Ron DeSantis discussed property tax reform yesterday in Jacksonville. He said he'll present a plan at some point, but it won't be next week when the legislature meets for a special session. There's no word on when a proposal will be released, but DeSantis says he's confident it'll be something people find meaningful. While in Jacksonville, DeSantis also signed bills banning local governments from passing DEI programs or zero-emissions policies.
