DeSantis Criticizes House Speaker Perez

(Madison, FL) -- Governor Ron DeSantis is not happy with one of the state's top Republicans. DeSantis criticized House Speaker Daniel Perez yesterday for refusing to support two measures DeSantis pushed for. DeSantis wanted the House to pass bills that would expand vaccine exemptions for kids and impose regulations on artificial intelligence. Neither bill was introduced in the House, and the House has also not provided funds for cancer research and food testing. Those are two causes that are a priority for First Lady Casey DeSantis. Governor DeSantis says Perez has a personal agenda, and he's not governing in the best interests of the people of Florida.
