DeSantis Announces Funding For Cancer Research

(Jacksonville, FL) -- Florida is committed to continuing to be a national leader in cancer treatment and care. That's what Governor Ron DeSantis said yesterday in Jacksonville at Wolfson Children's Hospital. He was there to highlight over 200 million dollars in funding for cancer-related initiatives this fiscal year. According to DeSantis, that brings the total state investment in cancer research and treatment to over one billion dollars since 2019.
