Deputies Investigated Possible Explosive Device in Escambia County

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Escambia County deputies investigated a possible explosive device in a county neighborhood Tuesday evening. The Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Tampico Way and Tampico Boulevard around nine-thirty p-m after receiving a report of a potential bomb. An Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was called out to evaluate the device, and the sheriffs office says it was determined to be non-explosive.
