Deadline Extended for Summer Youth Employment Program

(Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Escambia County has extended the deadline for its Summer Youth Employment Program. Young people ages 16 to 24 can now apply through March 12th at 5 p.m. Participants can earn 14 dollars an hour working up to 30 hours a week in various county departments. The program also includes job readiness training. More than 200 youth participated last summer. Applications are available online at MyEscambia.com.
