Cool Front Moving In; Gusty Winds Expected Tonight Through Saturday

A cooling trend is heading to the North Escambia area, with winds expected to gust near 30 mph Friday night into Saturday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Friday will start with partly sunny skies and a high around 85 degrees, with winds remaining calm before picking up to around 5 mph from the west in the afternoon. Conditions will shift as evening approaches, with mostly cloudy skies gradually clearing out overnight.

Lows are expected to dip to around 54 degrees Friday night as the cooler air mass moves in. Residents should prepare for the gusty winds, which could affect outdoor activities and loose debris throughout the evening and into Saturday.
