CHILD SHOOTS HIMSELF IN THE ARM

Pensacola Police are urging parents to keep their guns locked up -- this after a 3-year-old child reportedly shot himself after finding a loaded gun in his parent's bedroom yesterday. The incident happened at an apartment on Scenic Highway. The child's parents rushed him to the hospital. The child's parents have cooperated with the investigation -- but there's no word yet on whether they'll face charges for the incident. PPD recommends locking your guns up to prevent this type of accident... or worse. You can get a free gun lock from either the Pensacola Police Department or the Escambia County Sheriff's Office.
