CHAPPIE JAMES MEMORIAL HAS FUNDING DELAYS

Pensacola's General Daniel Chappie James Jr. memorial has hit a standstill. The memorial foundation missed the city's June 30 deadline to show evidence of full funding for the project. However, the city says this doesn't mean the project will not happen. City administrator Tim Kinsella says this will actually allow them to start brand new with the agreement. There is no word yet on when that new agreement could happen or what it might look like.
