Catherine Stewart Whitehead, 77, of Molino, passes away

Catherine Stewart Whitehead, a longtime Molino resident who dedicated her life to caring for others, passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 77. She was surrounded by her children and sister at the time of her death.

Whitehead was born and raised in Molino, where she spent her entire life in service to her community. She worked as a school bus driver and later owned and operated a day care, touching the lives of countless children and families throughout North Escambia County.
