Cat Country 98.7 Presents Check to Santa Rosa Kids House for Spring Jam Proceeds

Santa Rosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) — The Cat Crew visited Santa Rosa County to present a generous check to the Santa Rosa Kids House, raised during this year's 'Spring Jam' event at Juana's Pagodas.

"This marks the sixth year we've organized this concert to benefit the citizens of Santa Rosa County," said Brent Lane, Program Director of Cat Country 98.7, during the presentation. "We've been able to create a concert that benefits the citizens of Santa Rosa County, we just want to say thank you."

Lane presented a check for $22,878 to Wendell Hall, Chair of the Kids House Board. Hall expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the Spring Jam concert. The Santa Rosa Kids House has been providing vital support to children who have experienced abuse and neglect since 2008.

"I truly wish there was no child abuse in our community," said Santa Rosa Commissioner Colten Wright. "Unfortunately, that’s the reality we face. Thank you to everyone involved—the Kids House, Cat Country, and Mary and Dave Hoxeng—you are invaluable to our community."
