Casino Beach Parking Lot Expected to be Busy for Airshow Weekend

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Escambia County is reminding folks that will be headed to the Pensacola Beach Airshow about parking access for the next few days. You will want to leave early as traffic will be heavy -- especially on Saturday. As for the Casino Beach parking lot, the only entrance in will be on Via de Luna near Sidelines, and the only exit is on Fort Pickens Road near the restrooms. Last year, the parking lot filled up by 3:30 on Saturday morning.

County officials are also reminding folks to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated as it will be hot the next few days. The Pensacola Beach chamber will have a cooling and hydration station at Casino Beach, and the Visitors Information Center will also be open for cooling.
