A homeless woman has been arrested in connection with an August shooting inside a Cantonment shed, according to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office. Lisa Ann Elliott, 36, was booked into the Escambia County Jail on charges of attempted second-degree murder and shooting into a building. She was being held without bond.
Elliott had been wanted in the case since the August incident. The arrest marks a significant development in what authorities investigated as a serious violent crime in the unincorporated area north of Pensacola.
Details about what led to the shooting or information about any victims have not been released by the Sheriff's Office.
