Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A Cantonment man will spend 15 years in prison for the 2024 accidental shooting death of a 16-year-old at a house party on Wishbone Road. A judge sentenced 21-year-old Ethan O'Brien last week after a jury convicted him of manslaughter with a firearm in February. O'Brien was 19 when he pulled out an AR-style rifle at the party and accidentally fired it, striking Bryson Allen in the chest. O'Brien fled the scene. He will serve 15 years of probation after his release and received credit for more than 2 years already served.
