Boil Water Notice Lifted for Town of Jay

Santa Rosa County officials have rescinded the boil water notice for the Town of Jay as of Friday afternoon, following completion of bacteriological testing that confirmed the water supply is safe to drink.

The all-clear comes after water quality samples met safety requirements, allowing residents to use tap water normally again without boiling it first.

Meanwhile, boil water notices remain in effect for all customers of Bagdad Garcon Point Water. Residents in affected areas should continue to boil water before drinking or using it for cooking until they receive notice that their local system has been cleared.
