Bear Warriors United Asking Judge To Stop Bear Hunt

(Orlando, FL) -- A Seminole County nonprofit is taking the state to court. Bear Warriors United is suing to stop the FWC from having a black bear hunt next month. A judge will hear arguments today. The FWC says the hunt is needed to reduce the bear population, but Bear Warriors United's attorney says there's no evidence bears are overpopulated. She tells WESH 2 there's an overpopulation of greed, corruption and developers but not bears.
