Bay Center Getting Fresh Ice for Hockey Season

Pensascola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The Pensacola Bay Center is gearing up for hockey season -- a new layer of ice is being put down for the upcoming Ice Flyers season. Team owner Greg Harris says the ice is being put down to NHL standards. He says it should take a few days, and then they'll have around an inch of ice for the season. The Ice Flyers season begins on October 18th -- Harris says players are already starting to arrive in Pensacola and training camp begins next week. They kick off their season on October 18th against the Macon Mayhem.
