An arrest has been made for the ambush-style triple homicide at West Jackson Square back in April. The Escambia County Sheriff's Office says 23-year-old Torrance Sumler was arrested this week on three counts of first-degree premeditated murder. The shooting happened at a birthday party on April 28th. The three men were sitting in a car in the parking lot on West Jackson Street when they were gunned down. Since that incident mutliple ambush-style shootings have happened across Escambia County. The investigation in the case is ongoing.
