A Pensacola man is being held on no bond in connection to the deadly shooting of his roommate. It happened Wednesday evening at around 5:30 pm at a home on Teakwood Circle. 53-year-old Martin Cardenas is charged with 2nd-degree murder. According to his arrest report, Cardenas and his roommate were arguing at dinner when he left the room and walked into a nearby office. The victim followed him and stood in the doorway, and Cardenas allegedly shot him. Investigators say the victim then went to the kitchen, and Cardenas followed him there and shot him several more times. Cardenas was outside the home waiting for deputies to arrive.
