A Pensacola 18-year-old was sentenced to life in prison for shooting a woman in the head last April. On Friday, a judge sentenced Ryan Seals to life following a conviction by an Escambia County jury for Attempted Second Degree Murder. The incident happened on April 7, 2023, around 2:30 p.m. at a home on the 1000 block of Potomac Drive. That's when Seals and two others allegedly fired gunshots at a home, one of them hitting a 28-year-old woman in the head. Later that day, the suspected vehicle was located, Seals was driving and led police on a high-speed chase. The judge sentenced him to serve concurrent terms of incarceration for those counts. 20-year-old Darien Johnson was also charged with attempted homicide in the shooting. His next court date is set for April 10.
